Weather Videos from Our Webcam

The panel below displays a number of time lapsed videos selectable by clicking on the thumbnail images below. Currently we upload the last hour, the day so far and the whole of yesterday. The idea of the time lapsed images are that you see the sky at one minute intervals displayed as a short video, from these videos you can tell which way the upper and lower level clouds are going and from this deduce whether the weather is improving or on the change for the worse.

To select and view a video, click on the chosen thumbnail image, wait until the video load, ensure the play pointer is at the start and then press the play button. At any time you can pause the video or drag the play head back to the start of the video.

Currently there are only three videos selectable, but if in the future we add others, then the thumbnail controls will become operational.
